Shruti Haasan replaces Nayanthara

The genuine blockbuster of 2015, Thani Oruvan' starring Jayam Ravi, Arvind Swamy and Nayanthara is being remade in Telugu with Ram Charan Teja in the lead role and Arvind Swamy reprising his well received character Siddharth Abhimanyu.

It may be recalled that Nayanthara had a meaty role in the film portraying different shades and we hear that Shruti Haasan has been roped in for the remake and official announcement is expected during Pongal 2016.
