Shruti Haasan takes Ajith's Role in 'Thala 56'?

The month long first schedule of Thala 56' concluded a couple of days back and director Siruthai Siva shot scenes involving Ajith and Lakshmi Menon who play a closely bonded brother and sister in the film.

Rumors doing the rounds suggested that Ajith is playing the role of a taxi driver in the film, but now a surprising bit of information coming from the team leads us to believe that it is actually heroine Shruti Haasan who is playing a taxi driver. If that is the case, then this will be the first time a Tamil heroine is doing such a role. While this is interesting, more curiosity builds up now as to what character Ajith plays in Thala 56'. We have to wait and watch as the team will be moving to Kolkata for the second schedule when we will surely have more info on that.
