The former Miss World gave it back to the trollers and abusers a taste of their own medicine by posting another photograph of her with her mother.
Now south Indian actresses Shruti Haasan and Saranya Mohan have proved that they are not inferior to their Bollywood counterpart in handling the social media abusers and body shamers without any fear.
Shruti Haasan was recently trolled in social media for her plump look in one of her upcoming Bollywood film 'Behen Hogi Theri'. She was also apparently The elder daughter of the most straight forward Kamal Haasan has apparently lashed out on her critics saying "It's my face, my body. What I do with it is nobody's business. What people write about me on social media does not bother me. I am not answerable to anyone."
Likewise actress Saranya Mohan who delivered a baby in August 2016 was trolled for gaining weight after maternity
It is natural for women to gain weight after delivering their first child due to various factors including hormonal changes. But many people with patriarchal mindset always look women as glam dolls and they want them to look slim and sleek always.
Saranya has given a befitting reply to her abusers and trollers by posting a photograph of her with her son.The caption carried with the photo read "Happiness is mother hood .Happiness is feeding my son .Happiness is taking care of my family .and I am proud of it :)". that is an indirect response to her fat shamers:
Saranya Mohan's husband Aravind Krishna also blasted the social media users who trolled his wife for her appearance. with his Facebook post which read,"The online fraternity and body shamers are not worth any answer. She left her acting career to get married and became a mom and considering that 'mass act' the trollers are not even worth any response and none of them had such a 'good mentality."
Shruti Haasan and Saranya Mohan deserve our respect for boldly handling the social media abusers and setting an example for each and every women.
