Shruthi Prakash, the glamour girl is on a mission to changer her image to a character artiste. But her immediate film next will show her as a glam doll only.

Her next film ‘Guru Sishyan’ will show her in glamour avatar but she quickly intervenes to say her role will be very different from her earlier ones. Shruthi says “I am open to doing glamour and a variety of roles. But at end of career I would want myself to be called a good actress”.

So how did ‘Guru Sishyan’ happen? While she was doing ‘Naan Avan Illai – 2’ she was approached for ‘Guru Sishyan’. She readily accepted it because first the film is a comedy and then with two senior actors who have very good sense of humour by her side she will be able to do a great job. Her anticipations came good as both the seniors helped and improved her performance in the film Shruthi says.

‘Guru Sishyan’ is releasing this month. Shruthi is currently busy with the Kannada film ‘Aadu Aata Aadu’ which is a remake of ‘Thiruttu Payale’. She plays the role of Sonia Agarwal

When asked about people comparing her with Namitha, Shruthi says we both are different in our own ways and comparisons between us are not welcome.
