Shruthi in Akshara's debut film

Shruthi Haasan who is growing as a top heroine as a well as a play back singer has recently recorded a song in Ilaiyaraja. The actress who is currently busy in Hindi and Telugu projects flew down to Chennai and recorded the song at Raja sirs studio.
The song is for the yet to be titled film of director Balki in Hindi. Interestingly, the film marks the acting debut of Shruthis younger sister Akshara while Dhanush and Amitabh Bachchan play important male roles.
Details about the number crooned by Shrythi are not revealed. It is unknown whether it will be a solo number or a duet r whether she has lent her voice for her sister.
It is to be noted that Shruthi started her music career by singing the famous Potri Padadi Penne numbe in her fathers film Devar Magan (1992) which was again composed by the Isaignani. Shruthi was a school going child at that time.
