Four days after the harrowing experience, the news is out that Shruthi Hassan has gathered the courage to file a First Information Report at the Bandra police station. The actress was allegedly pounded on by a fanatic, who is reported have been stalking her for quite sometime now. Revealing the details of her complaint and the incident, Shruthi says "It happened on the 19th, around 9:45 in the morning.
A man tried entering my flat, sticking his hand in through the door. I closed the door on his hand in defence, but he escaped and ran down. I followed him down in hopes of getting a glimpse of him. I fled to my friend's house for safety and learnt that he has turned up there too! It is only a little later that I realized he has been following me wherever I went. I have noticed him on the shooting sets and now have a clearer picture of who he might be, which has helped me file the complaint."
