Shriya Saran, one of the most sought after heroines of the last decade in both Tamil and Telegu film industry has not acted in a Tamil film for the past 3 years. He last film in Tamil was Jeeva starrer Rowthiram that released in 2011.

In the meantime the lass had acted in a few bollywood and Telegu ventrues but they failed to render any help to redeem her market.

However the fans of this pretty actress were in for a pleasant surprise with the news stating that Shriya is most likely to make a comeback playin the lead lady of National Award winning director Bala’s film in which Sasikumar will be the protagonist. She is also playing the wife of Ramanujam in the biopic of the religious leader who found a new sect in Vaishnavism. .

Now the latest news about the actress is that Chandra a long in the making bi-lingual film that is being made in Tamil and Kannada is going to be released on February 14, that marks the Valentine ’s Day. In this film Shriya has acted as a girl who belongs to the family of a king in Mysore. Kannada actor Prem kumar is playing the role of her lover in the film. From the posters and trailers of the film one can easily guess that Shriya appears in very glamorous outfits in the film.
