Shankar's film 'Shivaji: The Boss' was a spectacular hit throughout the country at the time of it's release and over years, it has attained a cult status. The film was lauded for its unique narrative and amazing performances by all cast members. The dialogs of the film are still used in day to day conversations. On 15th June, the film completed 14 years of its theatrical release and on the ocassion, actress Shriya Saran recalled some memories of working on the project.
Expressing gratitude for the whole team, Shriya wrote, "This will always be my most cherished memory. Wish to do many more . Thank you @shanmughamshankar for believing in me . Will always be grateful to you. You are par excellence. Superstar Rajnikanth sir for this wonderful film. For being so humble and simple yet being such a big. miss your sense of humour. You are the most hard working actor I know."
The actress further added, "Thank you A.R Rahman sir for the music I will always love . And to the wonderful crew. @manishmalhotraworld for your beautiful outfits . I miss them... @neeta_lulla for your stunning clothes. So so so sexyyyy. Thank you. Thank you Thank you . Will always love this film.
