Shriya Saran has revealed that she is playing Monisha Jaganathan, a brat, in Sarath Kumar starrer ‘Jaggubhai’ that is getting ready to see the light of the day in less than 24 hours.

“The role Jaggubhai was hard to do,” the actress, who plays the daughter of Sarath, says. “Jaggubhai is a very special movie to me. Everything is new in the movie. Even the character I played is totally new to me.”

Throwing light on her role, she says, “I play a spoilt brat, who is loud, doesn’t know how to respect elders, and into some bad habits too. Since I don’t know any such friends, it was difficult for me to do the character.”

Differentiating between Geetha in ‘Kutty’ and Monisha in ‘Jaggubhai’, she says, “Geetha is calm, cool and naïve. In other words, she is the girl next door. But hardly could you come across a character like Monisha.”
