Shriya Saran, the 'Kandhasami' actress, was spotted in Ko Samui recently. The actress was holidaying in the island off the east coast of Kra Isthmus in Thailand, close to the mainland Surat Thani town. It is Thailand's second largest island, with white sandy beaches, coral reefs and coconut trees.

"Two lovely dives with fantastic divers in Ko Samui. It's a beautiful day," said Shriya. From Ko Samui, she left for Bangkok, to shoot for her Mollywood project 'Casanova'. She said that she had a whale of time in Bangkok too.

"Shooting in freaking heat in Bangkok, wearing a thick black jacket. It's boiling outside and I'm dying in my jacket But I'm enjoying it," wrote Shriya on her microblogging page, expressing her happiness and excitement.

Happy about the feedback she received for her performance in recent Tamil film 'Rowthiram', Shriya says, "It's a performance oriented role and there was a huge positive response to it. I am looking forward for more such characters, which would give me an opportunity to perform."
