Shriya Saran is known to experiment from time to time. 'Midnight's Children' is a feather in her cap.
Her next project is a universal film wherein the 'Gautamiputra Satakarni' actress will be seen in the role of a working woman hailing from a slum. "It's the life journey of an innocent girl," the makers say, suggesting that it's a biographical film tracing the life of a particular character. Debutante director Sujana will wield the megaphone.
"The storyboard is already done and the set designs are being worked upon. We are expecting the film shoot to start from the first week of March," the director says.
A genius has been roped in to compose the music. It's Maestro Ilayaraja. VS Gnana Shekar, the award-winning cinematographer, will crank the camera. Sai Madhav Burra of 'Gopala Gopala', 'Khaidi No. 150', 'GPSK' and 'Sye Raa' fame will write the dialogues.
Shriya's next release is 'Gayatri' in Telugu. It releases on Feb 9.
