The COVID 19 pandemic has caused nations all over the globe to shutdown and India which has been on a locked mode for the past three weeks will continue so till May 3rd. Many migrant laborers are stranded in all parts of the country and the Chennai Corporation is being lauded by all quarters for its touching gesture to a little girl in a camp.

Chennai Corporation has shared in its latest tweet "We, celebrated a young girl’s birthday at a migrant relief centre in Guindy. In hard times like these, where they couldn’t be home with their loved ones, these small things will boost up their confidence and emotional health. Let’s take care of them! One hopes that all the other district administrations in the country take this example and do the needful for those unfortunate who are separated from their families and are without food and emotional support.
