Woman shooter scores a gold for India at CWG 2018

India seems to be acing it at the 2018 Commonwelath Games which is being held at Australia. With 11 golds, 4 silvers, 7 bronzes, the country’s medal tally stands at 22 only next to Australia and England in the tentative rankings.

The happy news is that India has added yet another gold to its kitty thus increasing its medal count to 23. Indian shooter Shreyasi Singh clinched the gold in the double trap event after she shot 96 + 2 to beat Emma Cox of Australia. It is also worth mentioning here that she bagged the silver in the same event in the 2014 Commonwealth Games.

Awesome Shreyasi! We’re so proud of you!
