This year has been quite fruitful for actor Shreyas Talpade. His performance as cricketer Pravin Tambe in the biopic 'Kaun Pravin Tambe?' was applauded by one and all and his voice acting for Allu Arjun's role in 'Pushpa: The Rise' introduced the audience to his new talent. Although Shreyas has an image of a comedy actor, his recent performances prove that he can do a lot more than just comedy.
According to a recent report in Hindustan Times, the actor said, "I am known for doing comedy roles and it’s surprising that none of my current films are in that space. Nobody knows kaunsi picture aapko kahan le jaye... I was not seen in Pushpa, but I got so much love for it. I consider myself fortunate that I got a chance to be a part of the film. When KPT started streaming (it was an OTT release), it helped change the way I was perceived as an actor."
Shreyas also shared that he's been getting tonnes of dubbing offers after the success of 'Pushpa'. He said, "If I start taking on everything, then there won’t be any exclusivity. Earlier, I dubbed for The Lion King (2019). I am looking forward to dubbing for Pushpa 2: The Rule if I get the opportunity."
Talking about the future, Shreyas will be seen in films like 'Emergency', 'SarCar Ki Seva Main' and 'Manu or Munna ki Shadi'.
