‘What made you to take me so long’ – this is the first statement from the most mellifluous playback singer Shreya Goshal when Anoop Seelin met her at a studio in Mumbai for recording of a song for ‘Huchcha 2’ Kannada film a few months back.

It is 3 minutes 52 second song ‘Thumba Pritiso Hudigiyaru Jagava Mareyuvaru….penned by top writer Dr V Nagendra Prasad, recording was done by Shreya Goshal. What was surprising for music composer Anoop Seelin was that the knowhow of Shreya Goshal. ‘You are music director of 25 films in Kannada and why it took so long’ was her inquiry. Anoop Seelin did not expect this conversation. For nearly 25 films Anoop Seelin not inviting Shreya Goshal, she could have kept him away. She has such a clout and strength. She did not do so and that shows magnanimous thinking on the part of Shreya Goshal.

However the music director of high caliber Anoop Seelin is even today hell bent on local talent to get prominence. It is for the first time he recorded a song with Shreya Goshal. It has been such a lovely experience to work with Shreyaji. Somehow I also felt that this particular song should be from Shreya Goshal he says speaking to this correspondent.

The humming and clean delivery of voice for the song is impeccable. Anoop Seelin is hoping for some good records for this song of Shreya Goshal.

Anoop Seelin has also done RR for the film ‘Huchcha 2’. I had seen another Nadabrahma Hamsalekha in his work applauded top director of Kannada cinema N Omprakash Rao.
