Actress Shraddha Srinath, who had a great start to her Kollywood career with the blockbuster Vikram Vedha besides a cameo in Maniratnam's Kaatru Veliyidai, later starred in movies like Ivan Thanthiran and Richie as well, and was seen recently on screen in Arulnithi starrer thriller K-13.

After the success of K-13, the actress is awaiting the release of her next biggie in Tamil, Thala Ajith starrer Ner Konda Paarvai directed by H Vinoth, which is the official remake of Pink and the movie releases on August 10. Now the actress has also bagged the female lead role in Irumbuthirai 2.

Directed by debutant Anand, this movie will have Shraddha Srinath playing a police officer for the first time in her career. The actress will be seen sporting a new look and has a lot of action sequences to perform in the movie. Vishal again plays a police officer just like the first part. Yuvan Shankar Raja will be scoring music for Irumbuthirai 2 as well.
