In the new version of Maro Charithra, Shraddha Das is playing an interesting role. She is playing that of Madhavi's in the original version, and is named Sandhya.

The film is set to hit the marquee on March 25. The actress feels that the cameraman has taken due care in showing her in a new light. She is happy that she got to play a performance-oriented role in the film. It is to be seen if the actress scores some brownie points with this film, in which she says she plays a trendy character.

In fact, she is said to be the first choice of the director and Dil Raju, who zeroed down on her for the role.

She says that she hopes to play the main female lead, instead of a supporting actress, after Lahore and Maro Charitra. It is to be seen if Shraddha adds an angle of oomph to the role, as it is a key role in the second part of the film. The chemistry she strikes with Varun is pretty important too.

Hope, Shraddha sizzles this time around and has a meatier role than her Arya2's one.
