Shraddha Srinath, the Sandalwood actress of 'U Turn' fame, will be seen in Nani's 'Jersey'. The fledgling actress has mocked mass heroes for keeping mum on sexual misconduct allegations made against some industry folks by the likes of Chinmayi and Shruti Hariharan.
"I am mildly curious. Where are the men, the men who on 70 mm screens vow to protect their sisters and mothers and fight off a dozen bad men and make trucks fly? Please do your magic now. Say something. I just want to know what our superheroes think. That's all. I guess it's easier to make trucks fly than making people accept the fact that sexual harassment is a thing and that women don't do it for attention," she writes.
Shraddha pooh-poohs the critics of heroines who are coming out with their 'Me Too' stories. "A woman comes out and talks about her bad experiences with a "star" and all of internet is in a frenzy. She gets death threats and is accused of doing it for attention. Because "HOW CAN HE OMG NOT POSSIBLE". Happy women's day," she puts sarcastically.
