Shraddha Kapoor, who crooned the unplugged version of the song "Galliyan" last year from her film, 'Ek Villain' went on to become one of the top chartbusters of 2014. Post that we also heard the actress beautifully sing a Kashmiri folk song in 'Haider'.

The pretty actress got formal recognition for her singing talent at the music awards which were recently held. She was very much moved and got emotional as she went up on the stage to receive the award. Shraddha dedicated the award to her mother who was sitting in the audience. When asked on this, an elated Shraddha shared, "It was a very emotional moment for me to get this kind of a recognition for one of my other passions; singing. It was all the more special as my mom sat there in the audience, beaming with pride."

Incidentally, it`s a very special recognition for Shraddha as she comes from a musical family and they are extremely proud of her. Next movie front, Shraddha has 'ABCD 2' and 'Rock On 2' in her kitty.
