Beautiful actress Shraddha Kapoor has been away from the acting for last couple years and she is all set to make an grand comeback. For her next project, she will be seen portraying a real life hero named Rukhsana Kausar. This will be second biopic for the actress who has previously played Haseena Parkar.

For the unversed, Rukhsana is a Kashmiri girl who shot down a Lashkar E Taiyaba in order to safeguard her family. In September 2009, a group of terrorists trespassed into Rukhsana's home. Just 20 years old at that time, she and her brother overpowered a terrorist, snatched his AK47 and shot him dead. Rukhsana was awarded Kirit Chakra for her heroic act.

Sharing why makers chose Shraddha for the part, a source close to the development told Pinkvilla, "Makers of the film wanted someone who would look like a 20-year-old onscreen to play Rukhsana. Shraddha undoubtedly will do justice to the role. And hence she has been roped into the movie. Shraddha's role in the film is completely opposite of what she has portrayed in most of her movies."
