The lovely Shraddha Kapoor who was last seen in Yashraj Films’ ‘Luv Ka The End’ and appreciated for her performance in the film is all set to showcase her romantic side with her upcoming film ‘Ashiqui 2’ opposite the young talent Aditya Roy Kapoor.

"I am very romantic as a person," reveals Shraddha, "I believe that love should be something mad and full of pagalpan. It should not be kaam chalau. A lot of things in life today are like that. Love should not be one of them. It should be mad or should not be there." Calling herself a romantic person, she went on, "I love romantic films. I hope I have a fairy tale romance."

Talking about her character in ‘Aashiqui 2’, Shraddha said, "In the film I am playing a role of middle class Maharshtrian girl named Arohi who is a singer and discovered by Rahul ( Aditya Roy Kapoor) who is an established singer. He has found a new purpose to show this talent to the world. They fall in love. It is an intense love story."

Shraddha then went on to share her favourite love film, "I always wanted to be a part of romantic film. There are lots of romantic films which are my favourite like Pyaasa, Devdas, Titanic, The Notebook. These are the ones which really stand out in my mind."
