Official confirmation of Shraddha Kapoor's connection with Rahul Mody comes from On her Instagram Stories, the actress posted a selfie with Rahul signifying their first public acknowledgement as a couple. Having grown close while working on the movie "Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar," the two have apparently been courting for some time.

Shraddha and Rahul are seen in the new selfie sporting white and staring straight at the camera. Rahul has a funny look while Shraddha is smilingly holding his arm. Shraddha captioned the image, "Dil rakh le, Neend toh vaapis de de yaar" (Take my heart, but at least return my sleep), with a cheerful face and red heart emojis underneath.

The pair has been seen together a number of times, notably during pre-wedding celebrations at Jamnagar between Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. They also were photographed together last year on a dinner outing in Mumbai. A Hindustan Times insider claims the couple like to keep their romance quiet and was taken aback to be pictured together.

On the "Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar '' sets, where Rahul was a writer, Shraddha and Rahul met. Their friendship grew to be romantic at last. Shraddha was seen sporting a pendant bearing the first "R," which stoked more rumors on their romance earlier this year.

Professionally, Shraddha will next be featured in "Stree 2," also starring Rajkummar Rao. The movie's teaser debuted lately under "Munjya." Made by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films, "Stree 2" is a horror-comedy within a universe including movies like "Stree," "Roohi," and "Bhediya." August 15 is scheduled release date for "Stree 2".
