As we had reported earlier actor Nivin Pauly who has become a household name among Tamil audience with his Malayalam film 'Premam' is now acting in a direct Tamil film after a gap. This film directed by debutant Gautham Ramachandran is the Tamil remake of Kannada super hit 'Ulidavaru Kandanthe'. This is the second direct Tamil film of Nivin after the super hit 'Neram' that released in 2013.

Now we have some important update about the female cast members of the film. It has been revealed that actress Shraddha will be making her Tamil debut playing the female lead in this film with Nivin Pauly. She has acted in the last week's big Kannada release 'U Turn'. Interestingly Shraddha who has acted as a journalist in 'U Turn' will be acting in the same role again in her Tamill debut. However the young actress has clarified that both the characters are entirely different despite the profession being common.

This yet to be titled Tamil remake of 'Ulidavaru Kandanthe' with Nivin Pauly and Shraddha in lead roles will go on floors very soon.
