Shraddha Das, who hasn't had good offers coming her way, has finally got a shot in the arm in the form of a YVS Chowdhary film. She is one of the two leading heroines in his directorial, starring Sai Dharam Tej (Chiru’s sister's son).

Rey, which was launched in style in the presence of the members of the Chiranjeevi family, and biggies like ANR, D Rama Naidu and K Raghavendra Rao, some months ago, will be shot in Bangkok.

It was earlier announced that Shubra Aiyappa and Amruta Patki would be the heroines. YVS has decided to replace them since.

The film is an entertaining action drama. Rey marks the fulfilment of his long desire to work with a member of the Chiranjeevi family. In fact, YVS had a film for Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan (Sri Seeta Ramula Kalyanam Chootanu Raarandi) and Allu Arjun (Devdas) but none of them got materialized due to different reasons.

Though there has been a delay in the making of the film, thanks to YVS' engagement with his home production Nippu, the film may well take off in a short span of time. Sources say that he is trying to picture it as a stylish flick. YVS, in his own words, is doing the movie with the encouragement given by Pawan and the blessings of Chiru.
