'Shower selfie' & Madhavan's embarrassment

The other day, handsome actor Madhavan happened to post a 'shower selfie' on his social media page. Not surprisingly, the intimate pic got a rousing reception from many users, including appreciation from female fans.
Shouldn't the 'Vikram Vedha' actor be reveling in this? He is not. Not so counter-intuitively, he is actually embarrassed. There are two reasons. He is not always like that and so, it is embarrassing to get accolades for a flashing look. Secondly, he is 47 and being a girls' favorite at this age is "embarrassing".
But why not? Isn't Nagarjuna busy sweeping his female fans off the floor in his mid-50's?
