Fakru, the short comedian with tall skills has already established a name for himself in Malayalam and Tamil as well. His recent Tamil release Dishoom has propelled him to fame in Kollywood.

Undeterred by his disability, he has worked hard to earn a reputation in cinema. His original name is Ajay Kumar.

Ajay, 29, is an economics graduate and holds a certificate in computer applications. He recently won a special jury mention for his lead role in the blockbuster Albhutha Dweep (Wonder Island).

It was the first in world cinema, with a cast of 300-odd ‘small men’ acting alongside some of the biggest stars of the Kerala film industry.

This short comedian recently got married to Gayathri, one who is 5 feet and 2 inches.

It was an arranged marriage but there had been no family pressure. The five-feet-two-inches Gayathri had liked the proposal as soon as it came from one of Ajay’s relatives.

Ajay now has roles in many TV serials but carries on with his entertainment programmes, including Thattukada, the most popular fun show on Asianet TV.

Fakru will be traveling to Australia and the Gulf for a cultural show next week. His newly wed bride will also accompany him.
