Tusshar Kapoor's 'Shor In The City' is all set for release and due to it's enticing title, one can't shrug away the immediate connection that one ends up drawing with 'Life In A Metro'. While the former has a gangster backdrop to it and is a thriller in the offing, the latter had love as a central element and was a romantic drama.
One wonders though whether 'Shor In The City' is episodic in treatment with story of one character coming after another or is is the case of multiple stories running in parallel that end up meeting at a common point around the film's culmination?
"Well, there are three stories in 'Shor In The City' but they are running concurrently. Also, they are not totally connected; they are parallel to each other", Tusshar begins to explain, "However let the fact be known that the film is definitely not episodic. You won't see one half an hour episode of a character being followed by the next in line. Each of these stories are connected to a common thread they but don't come together in the end in the true sense."
'Shor In The City' releases all over on Thursday, 28th April. The film is co-directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK who had earlier delivered a superb quickie thriller in the form of '99' (Kunal Khemu, Soha Ali Khan, Boman Irani).
