Our industry walas are always keen to wear unique thinking cap in the name of promotional strategy. While we have seen different promotional activities by several movies earlier, this Sanjay Gupta's forthcoming venture proved to be quite unique and weirdest than the rest.

The innovative invite for the launch of 'Shootout At Wadala' yesterday, sent to the media in the form of an official police summons, had everyone praising the uniqueness of thought. However, Mumbai's cops aren't too pleased.

Two cops from the local police station are believed to have landed up at director Sanjay Gupta's residence, to seek answers.

DCP Nisar Tamboli, the official spokesperson of the Mumbai Police, said, We are looking into the matter. Nobody is supposed to use the national emblem and commissioner's name.

The press meet for the launch of 'Shootout At Wadala' was held yesterday at Mehboob Studio, which was attended by the cast and crew of the film.
