Shooting blues

Things are not always rosy behind the scenes. Besides lots of efforts, the crew has to put up with any untoward incidents too.
ÂLove Aaj Kal had its own bad shooting experiences. The shoot was on full swing for some intense sequences, when after everything the crew found out that their camera was broken in the process. And so they had to put up with additional expense of Rs. 5 lakhs for a new camera and the scenes were re-shot all over again! Another unpleasant occasion was when the leading leady, Deepika Padukone accidentally feel off the stage while performing! It was during the shoot of the song ÂChor Bazari in which the actress had to act drunkard and in doing so she lost the balance and fell down badly. Sources said, ÂDeepika had a great fall from the stage. It was a panic situation but everyone felt relief when she got up and said that ÂIÂm fineÂ.Â
Another movie met with similar woes while shooting. Few scenes of R. BalkiÂs ÂPaÂ, starring Abhishek Bachchan  Vidhya Balan, was planned to roll on the Cambridge University campus, London. But the team was shown the way out as they were shooting on a grassy area. According to the campus laws, no one should walk over the green areas and since the actors had broken the law, they were asked to leave the place immediately. This resulted in waste of time and later, the crew chose some other campus and finished the shoot; but this time sans grassy area.
Should we say that behind the scenes all these ÂHappens Aaj KalÂ?
