Shoot of Prabhas' 'Adipurush' starts in earnest; Deets inside

On January 21, the motion capture works of ‘Adipurush’ began in style. About ten days later, the shoot of the epic 3D action drama, based on the Ramayana, has begun. Starring Prabhas as Lord Ram, the film is directed by Om Raut.
The shoot will take place on a huge set erected at a studio in Mumbai. The 'Baahubali' actor is scheduled to shoot for Prashanth Neel's 'Salaar' for the rest of the month or so. He is likely to join the shoot of 'Adipurush' either in the last leg of February or in early March. Saif Ali Khan plays Ravana in this 2022 release.
High-end visual effects combined with real-time technology (that) is commonly used in international films has been combed for this big-ticket, multi-lingual film.
The VFX-heavy movie is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar of T-Series, besides Om Raut, Prasad Sutar and Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles. The film's rest of the cast and crew will be joining the unit from time to time.
