Director Shoojit Sircar, whose latest film 'Piku' is up for release soon, was in for a pleasant surprise recently. The pretty Yami Gautam, who made her Bollywood debut through Sircar's 'Vicky Donor' had called her the filmmaker to tell him how she had liked the trailer of 'Piku'.

It is said that the young actress was in Patiala for a long schedule of her next when the trailer of 'Piku' was launched here in Bombay. As per our sources, the place where Yami and her team were shooting had very low network and because of that the actress could see the trailer only some days after it was released. As soon as she saw it, she called Shoojit and spoke about how interesting it looked. The two also briefly chatted about their film, 'Vicky Donor' completing 3 years. It was very nostalgic for them especially for Yami who made a very impactful debut with this film.?

Yami is currently in the midst of shooting for her upcoming project 'Sanam Re', opposite Pulkit Samrat.
