Shrui Haasan is no longer a protagonist of 'Sangamithra', the Rs. 250 Cr Kollywood project. The production house has conveyed the message to the world. Giving no reason, they said that they are unable to proceed working with the actress.
The Haasan lady has been training in sword-fighting and more for the sake of the movie. The period fantasy was launched in a grand way at the recently concluded Cannes.
Speculations are going to be rife about why she must have been dropped (or have walked away). Was it due to creative differences or is the director Sundar C looking at casting a Bollywood actress now that the project has got some national coverage? Only time will tell.
