Shocking news broke yesterday when it was revealed that a family of eleven in Delhi killed themselves in the most mysterious way possible by hanging. Police uncovered written notes which pointed to a sorts of occult ritual.
Now further investigations show that the family did a ritual in order to ‘hang in a formation that would replicate the hanging roots of a banyan tree’. Creeped out yet? The ritual is termed as ‘Vat tapasya’.
Reports also suggest that the family had been trying to complete the ritual successfully since 2015 and also enacted a few rehearsals as well. However, ordinary people cannot be motivated to such an extent of suicide without being brainwashed. Word is that there is an external suspect as well, probably a godman.
Police investigation suggest that Lalit Bhatia had been hallucinating about his dead father for several years. It seems that his father wanted to lead his family to salvation and been giving him instructions since 2015.
The Burari death case has become one of the most mysterious grim mass suicides and no wonder this is giving the ‘chills’ to everyone.
