Shocking! Telangana is no longer screening domestic passengers

Telangana has reportedly stopped screening domestic passengers entering the State, a report published by The Hindu says. It seems even symptomatic patients are no longer being mandated to quarantine themselves.
"An estimated 80,000 passengers have arrived in Secunderabad and Nampally (railway) stations June 1st onwards already. Sources in the State Health Department confirmed that they have stopped screening and taking down details of passengers at the Secunderabad Railway Station from June 1," the report says.
This approach is likely to result in an increase in the number of cases in Telangana, especially in GHMC. The number of tests per day has been low in the State.
