Popular singer and pop star Mika Singh's manager Saumya Samy was found dead in her Andheri residence on February 3 and as per police investigation reports, she had passed away due to drug overdose. After the investigation, police have also disclosed that Samy had been suffering from depression.

The 30 year old Samy had returned from an overnight party around 7 am on February 3, and till evening she had not come out. By 10.15pm, some workers from the ground floor of the studio went upstairs and found her lying in her room. Samy was immediately rushed to the hospital but was declared dead.

Samy's body was handed over to her relatives for last rites in Punjab.Inspector P Bhosle stated that she had depression and died due to drug overdose, and because of depression she had been staying alone on the first floor of Mika Singh's studio. Mika had expressed his condolences on Instagram as he posted, "Waheguru ji ka Khalsa Waheguru ji ki fateh. Very sad to announce that ,our dear Saumya Samy has left us for heavenly abode, leaving behind with us her Beautiful memories she left this world at a very young age. May God bless her soul rest in peace. My heartfelt condolences to her family and her husband Zoheb Khan".
