Popular Telugu tv anchor Pradeep Machiraju, who had been named among 143 persons in the gang-rape case in Hyderabad has now opened up on the controversy and has condemned the allegations which have connected him to the case. Recently, a woman had complained to Hyderabad police that she was gang-raped by 143 persons and also gave a list of the accused, including Pradeep's name.

As per reports, the Hyderabad police also is said to to have charged Pradeep under several sections. Pradeep who has been receiving abuses on social media after this, and now the anchor has come up with a video on his social media account.

Pradeep has refuted the allegations against him, and has said that he has been targeted by some people who are dragging him into the controversy. Pradeep said that the accusations on social media are hurting and painful, and that he's been trolled without trying to find why his name was mentioned in the case. Pradeep said that he'll file a complaint against people carrying smear campaign against him adding that his family is undergoing mental agony and trauma. Pradeep said that when his career is making progress his name has been dragged into needless controversies.
