The violence in Delhi over the CAA-NRC has consumed about 20 lives so far. On Wednesday noon, it was revealed that an Intelligence Bureau security assistant was killed by a mob during a riot.

His name is Ankit Sharma, aged 26. As reported by journalist Alok Singh, the body of the IB man was found inside a drain in Chandbagh. "He was trapped in the crowd. Allegedly beaten up killed and dumped the body in a drain," he tweeted out.

The mother and sister of Ankit Sharma were seen weeping inconsolably today. "Relatives say that Ankit's body had stab wounds, throat slashed and one bullet wound. His body was found dumped in a drain and pressed down with stones," reported ANI.

It may be noted that media reports are not full-fledged on the murder. Some details have been withheld by authorities in view of security implications where an IB man is involved.
