Sowmya Janu, a starlet who was seen in the movie 'Tadaka' some years ago, has commented that Rana Daggubati's brother Abhiram Daggubati once hurt her.

"During 'Tadaka', Abhiram came to the shooting spot driving rashly. I never knew him before. We were shooting at Ramanaidu Studios in Nanakramaguda. Everybody knows that he is kiddish. He is younger than me. He said 'Hi' to me and I replied the same to him. Since I was new to the industry, I was too scared to talk to him as he is the grandson of a legendary producer. I don't know if he thought I am proud. Out of hurt or whatever, he made my vehicle be taken to a distant place. He repeated it twice. It hurt me and I cried a lot sitting in the caravan. I went to Naga Chaitanya garu and told him about the incident. Chaitanya garu assured me that he will talk to him. He called up Abhiram and gave him a sweet warning, asking him not to repeat it with me. For the rest of the 2-3 days during the shoot, Abhiram never touched me. It was a bad experience with him," Sowmya narrated.

Sowmya joked that she will complain to Balakrishna if ever someone misbehaves with her.
