Grapevine has it that classical dancer Shobana will be seen in Superstar Rajinikanth's magnum opus 'Kochadaiyaan'. However there are no details on the kind of role she will be seen in.

It may be remembered Shobana was paired opposite Rajini in 'Thalapathi', a blockbuster that's still cherished by Rajinikanth's fans. The chemistry between the duo was much talked about back then.

'Kochadaiyaan' is getting bigger with each passing day what with big names like Katrina Kaif, Sneha, Prithviraj, Aadhi, Shobana and Lakshmi Manchu associated with it for the casting and the crew being equally promising. The film is directed by Soundarya Ashwin and has story, screenplay and dialogues by KS Ravikumar and music by AR Rahman.

It will see Rajini as a king who is an ardent devotee of Lord Shiva. Rajini will be seen sporting long tresses in this film true to the title.
