'Dorasani' is one of the upcoming period dramas in the making.  Starring Anand Deverakonda (Vijay Deverakonda's younger brother) as the hero, this one is set in the Telangana of the 1980s.

Debutant director KVR Mahendra, who had to bide his time for 17 full years before bagging the chance to direct a feature film, tells a newspaper that Shivathmika (younger daughter of Rajasekhar and Jeevitha) fits the role of a 'dorasani' like a dream. Earlier, co-producer Madhura Sreedhar Reddy had said in an interview that only she could have done the role and nobody else.

Currently in the post-production phase, this Telangana village film will release on July 5.  Music is by Prashanth R Vihari, cinematography is by Sunny Koorapati.  Suresh Productions will release it.
