Manchu Vishnu embarks on an inspiring cinematic journey alongside his devotional entertainer, Kannappa. Principal photography for the film began in New Zealand just a couple of days ago, and the anticipation among movie enthusiasts across the country is soaring. This excitement reached new heights when Manchu Vishnu managed to secure the participation of Pan India Star Prabhas in the pivotal role of Lord Shiva.
The thrill intensified when the filmmakers confirmed the inclusion of the immensely talented beauty, Nayanthara, in the role of Goddess Parvathi. Adding to the excitement, the latest report reveals that Sandalwood superstar Shiva Rajkumar will be playing a significant role in the film. This development has left movie lovers buzzing with anticipation, especially since Shiva Rajkumar's father, Rajkumar, was a legendary figure in the industry and starred in the super hit film "Bedara Kannappa," which was later remade in Telugu as "Bhakta Kannappa," with Prabhas' uncle, Krishnam Raju, in the lead role. Rajkumar also graced Telugu cinema with his presence in "Sri Kalahasteewara Mahatyam," adding to the excitement for Telugu movie enthusiasts.
Shiva Rajkumar recently delighted fans with a cameo in Rajinikanth's "Jailer" and is now gearing up to captivate audiences with his upcoming action-packed entertainer, "The Ghost," set to release on October 19, 2023.
Behind the scenes, Kannappa benefits from a talented crew, with Manisharma and Stephen Devassay serving as the music directors, and Sheldon Shau taking charge of the cinematography. The film is being skillfully directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and produced under the banners of Ava Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory. The convergence of these stellar talents and the rich cinematic history involved in this project promises an extraordinary cinematic experience that fans eagerly await.
The project had its grand inauguration in the sacred town of Srikalahasthi, marked by a ceremonial moment where the illustrious Mohan Babu lent his presence and initiated the first shot. He graciously accepted the script, accompanied by three clapboards, in a special handover by TTD Chairman Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, MLA Biyyapu Madhusudan Reddy, and Kola Anand. This auspicious event set the stage for an exciting and promising journey in the world of cinema.
