Shivanna not got all commercial remakes

The surprise for everyone is when Dr Shivarajakumar accepted a remake film. It was 15 years ago he took an oath not to act in remake films.
Now the ‘Oppam’ remake is taken up is only because of the subject. I do not take up all commercial films for remakes. The role of a blind person performed by Mohan Lalji attracted me and haunted me. I had not taken up such a subject in my 120 films says Dr Shiv speaking to a few media persons.
Story and role of ‘Oppam’ has given a confidence to Shiv that he would at least meet sixty percent of the legendary actor in performance. A blind person to retain prestige of the family what extreme he goes is interesting. I have to change my mannerism for this film says Shiv.
