Shivani Rajasekhar to romance Teja Sajja

Her launch vehicle, 2 States, might not have gone according to plan, getting entangled in legal tussle as well, but Shivani Rajasekhar is not losing sleep over it. She has recently signed on to be the leading lady of Teja Sajja’s long-in-the -development debut as a lead. The untitled project went to floors earlier this week in Hyderabad and wielding the megaphone is Naruda Donaruda director Mallik Ram. 

Awe fame Prasanth Varma, who is good friends with Teja, has written the film’s story, a whacky love story with a scientific-twist to it. He is also the creative producer of the project. Prasanth felt Shivani was tailor-made for the part and approached her. Impressed with the story and the fact that Prasanth, who she rates highly, is taking creative calls, Shivani accepted the film. The supporting cast of the film, a production venture of Shekar Reddy, includes Rajeev Kanakala and Devi Prasad among others, while Radhan is the music composer.
