Shivani Rajasekhar, who is doing '2 States', celebrated her birthday on Sunday (July 1) by doing quality work.
"It makes me happy that I participated with my parents on my birthday in the Haritha Haram programme started by the Telangana Government. We have to save our Earth on our own. That's why planting saplings is important," the youngster said.
Shivani, along with her father Rajasekhar and mother Jeevitha, went to Medchal ring road and planted saplings. She was also to the Devanar School for the blind and played with kids. She cut her birthday cake over there and was visibly happy about celebrating the birthday with the school's inmates.
"I am very happy to be here on my birthday in this way. I am going to celebrate my birthday every year this way, amid kids. The intelligence of these kids is amazing. They are really special, unlike the rest of us," Shivani said on the occasion.
Jeevitha said, "Looking at what the kids have achieved, one feels we have got to achieve so much. These kids are like Gods. I wish that they reach great heights in life. Our family will do its bit for the construction of a building here."
