Shivani Narayanan as a teenager has acted in serials such as 'Pagal Nilavu', 'Saravanan Meenatchi 3', 'Kadaikutty Singam' and 'Rettai Roja'. At that time she gained a sizeable fan following on social media by posting her hot pics on a regular basis.

Shivani then participated in 'Bigg Boss 4' hosted by Kamal Haasan and was one of the strong contestants who lasted almost the full 100 days. She got the lucky break in Tamil cinema playing one of the female leads in Kamal Haasan's 'Vikram' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.

Now Shivani has bagged her second movie once again teaming up with Vijay Sethupathi who is also playing the antagonist in 'Vikram'. The film 'VJS46' is poduced by Sun Pictures and directed by Ponram with D. Imman scoring the music.

Shivani is playing a cop in 'VJS46' and has shared a photo with Ponram captioning it "Glad to work with the coolest director". Anu Keerthi Vas is playing the lead heroine opposite Vijay Sethupathi while Pugazh also plays an important character. Two schedules have already been completed and the third is underway for the film currently.
