Akkineni Nagarjuna feels that the 'mental' cop Shivamani from Puri Jagananadh's 'Shivamani' (2003) would have been a different beast in times of coronavirus. Sharing a mash-up video on his Twitter account, the 'Raju Gari Gadhi-2' and 'Manmadhudu-2' actor says, "Were the movie to be made now, Puri Jagannadh's dialogues would be somewhat like this in Corona crisis." The mimicry in the mash-up is by Ravi Bhaviri, who works as a Technical Officer at the Andhra Pradesh Endowment Department.
The mash-up video comes with some excellent dubbing by a mimicry artist, who puts timely words into Nag's mouth. The cop storms into a busy market and warns the bad men (Brahmaji and others) for violating the lockdown and making the matters worse for doctors and paramedics. He doesn't take kindly to a henchman's protestation and hits him in an instant.
Nag further tells Puri Jagannadh, "Bringing back good old memories with smiling eyes Jagan in these troubled times… Stay safe!!" To which the 'iSmart Shankar' and 'Fighter' maker replies, "Yess, sir. Miss you."
If I did the movie Shivamani now,@purijagan s dialogues would be somewhat like this in #CoronavirusCrisis pic.twitter.com/KrFiii8Ug2
