When a superb producer with good thoughts in film making arrives on the film scene deviating from original business the utmost responsibility in taking care of the producer lays on the shoulders of the director. Next the artists and other technicians contribute to the humble producer returns. In the case of 'Shivamani' the first time director S.K.Amaranath has concentrated on the first half brilliantly but fails to hold the attention in the second half. The artists and other technicians have contributed very well. A simple justification for the strength and muscle power of the hero is not shown in the film. Banishing 20 people around should be justified with at least one scene in the film. It is not enough the protagonist is given the Action Star even before the release of the film.

The majority of first time director is over confident. They do not make precise and apt script and screenplay. Convincing the producer by director is not enough today. What the producer should do today keeping in view the losses of tomorrow is that he should enhance the narrated script taking opinion from cross section of people including the media. It is only the print media today that watches all the releases in the year.

This is the lost and found after 22 years case of 'Shivamani'. In the midnight the baby crawling with fast asleep parents at a bus station reaches the hands of Subbanna (Avinash). As Subbanna picks the baby he misses the sharp edge weapon directed at his head. He runs away with the child and considers it as the life saver. Shiva (Srimurali) has a sacred 'Mani' tied to his neck by his parents and that is the only identifying element now after 22 years when he comes to study his second year computer science to Bangalore.

Shiva has extremely good muscle power and brainy in his approach. He can put down 20 plus around him. Very aggressive and admirable for his college students Shiva is liked by Preethi (Sharmila Mandre). All is not good for Shiva in college campus and even outside too. Shiva with strict instructions from his father Subbanna finds it tough to live bogging down the head. Wherever injustice is there Shiva is there to set it right. Residing in Bangalore Shiva take on big dons and finds his parents after a long time.

Srimurali in this action movie is capable. When it comes to dialogue delivery he is rigid. Sharmila Mandre needs to work hard on her physique before she is called Sharmila aunty. In the song Modha Madhala..she leaves such an impression. Avinash, Shobaraj, Ramesh Bhat, Vinayaprakash have rendered good support.

The title song and Modha Modhala..songs are well tuned by Veera Samarth. The cinematography by Srivenkat is adequate.

Scoring 6/10
