Singer Sukhwinder Singh, who will be heard next in Ajay Devgn's 'Shivaay', recently visited the Wagah Border with the actor and enthralled our Jawans with his songs.

Sukhi, as he is fondly called, also sang "Chak De India" and got a rousing applause from the troops on both sides of the border.

A source present at Wagah Border describes it a magical moment, "When Sukhwinder sang Chak de India, the whole atmosphere became one of revelry and patriotism, his powerful voice not on entertained our jawans but even Pakistani soldiers across the border clapped as they heard him sing. Sukhiji has sung all over the world but this reception was surreal. It was his most memorable audience".

Sukhwinder also believes that he's fortunate to have sung for the troops, an opportunity not many singers get, he said, "I consider myself very lucky to have sung few of my songs for our Jawans at Wagah. We as a citizens should do anything and everything we can to support those who protect us. Even the soldiers from the other side of the border were cheering and clapping. It was truly amazing to perform there."
