After the initial success of Shiva’s ‘Tamizh Padam’, anticipation has always been high for the sequel. At first CS Amudhan’s sequel was titled as ‘Tamizh Padam 2.0’ taking a jab at Rajinikanth’s ‘Endhiran’. Now seems like the team has planned to make changes to the title and the reason seems as hilarious as we would have expected from the team.

“It has been pointed out to us that zero has no value and therefore we are dropping it from our title. The film will be henceforth be known as just Tamizh Padam 2,” the official statement read. So it’s just ‘Tamizh Padam 2’ from now onwards, people. Seems a valid reason, doesn’t it?

The film which stars Shiva in the lead role also has Disha Pandey, Ishwarya Menon, Kasthuri, Santhana Bharathi and Manobal in the ensemble cast. Directed by CS Amudhan, the film is being bankrolled by Y NOT Studios.
