The first mega television serial production from Dr Shivarajakumar family ‘Manasa Sarovara’ is on air in Udaya TV from February 26 – Monday to Friday at 9.30 pm.

On the launch day the title ‘Manasa SArovara’ created lot of curiosity. That is because this is the first mega serial that is taking on from where the film ‘Manasa Sarovara’ ended. Doyen SR Puttanna Kanagal directed film ‘Manasa Sarovara’ was released in 1983. In the climax of the movie Manasa Sarovara Dr. Anand turns insane. How is Dr. Anand now? How is the life of Santosh and Vasanthi? What happened to the wife of Dr. Anand who left him? The attempt to find answers for all these questions follows the story of the serial ‘Manasa Sarovara’.

This mega television serial ‘Manasa Sarovara’ is a takeoff from the end of the film. Dr Srinath, Padma Vasanthi, Ramakrishna – all three of 1983 film are in the cast of this mega serial.

The prestigious satellite channel with nearly 23 years of stint in Sun Network ‘Udaya TV’ gets the record for such a novel thought in small screen.

Karunada Chakravarthi Dr. Shivarajkumar under his banner Shree Muttu Cine Creations, the serial has already created curiosity among the audience and the promos has been received well. The movie was based on the sensitive subject of mental process and the serial will continue to follow the same thread.

The mega serial is directed by Ram Jayasheel Vaidya, cinematography by Ravi Kishore and Sunderesh is the line producer. Along with senior artists like Srinath, Padmavasanthi, Ramakrishna new comers like Prajwal, Shilpa, Shruti are part of the star cast.

Another specialty of the serial is Shivanna narrating the story in the first 10 episodes. The serial is sure to create a new wave in the small screen. The serial starts with Dr. Sunnidhi, daughter of Vasanti and Ramakrishna who is a Psychiatrist now taking up the case of curing Dr. Anand. What will happen when Sunnidhi finds out that her own mother was responsible was Dr. Anand’s illness. The serial will have many such interesting and curious twists to keep the audience engaged.

The serial is also running a contest from February 19 to March 2. Questions will be asked based on the movie and serial and winner will get the opportunity of spending time with Manasa Sarovara team.
